Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026. These Terms govern your access to and use of the VocaPass digital vocabulary learning service, website, account system, payment flow, and related learning content.

1. Agreement and parties

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and VocaPass. By visiting the website, creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing paid access, or using any learning feature, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and any checkout terms displayed before payment.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use VocaPass with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or authorized organization where required. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, maintaining accurate account information, and promptly notifying support if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Service description

VocaPass provides digital vocabulary learning tools, including vocabulary plans, word recitation, sentence recitation, review tests, generated or curated learning assets, progress synchronization, and account-based access controls. The service is delivered electronically; no physical product is shipped.

4. Learning content and availability

Vocabulary lists, explanations, sentences, audio, images, review questions, and plan logic may be updated to correct errors, improve quality, satisfy source restrictions, or meet product and compliance requirements. We may suspend or block content that lacks approved source, localization, audio, image, or quality coverage.

5. Trial and paid access

Trial access, paid access, access duration, payment amount, currency, refund eligibility, and final-exam eligibility are controlled by the terms shown at checkout and saved with your server-side plan or purchase record. Unless checkout states otherwise, paid access is a one-year, non-renewing digital entitlement.

6. Prices, taxes, and payment processor

Prices are shown before checkout and may vary by offer, currency, jurisdiction, tax treatment, or payment method. Web purchases are processed through Stripe Checkout or another approved Stripe-hosted or tokenized payment flow. VocaPass does not collect or store raw card numbers, CVC codes, or full payment-account credentials.

7. Delivery of digital access

Paid access is normally delivered after successful payment confirmation, account authentication, and entitlement creation. If delivery fails after a confirmed payment, contact support with your account email, receipt, payment date, amount, currency, and checkout reference so we can investigate and restore access or process an eligible refund.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse VocaPass, bypass payment or access controls, attack or probe systems, scrape or resell learning assets, upload or transmit malicious code, impersonate others, interfere with service availability, reverse engineer protected service logic, or use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.

9. Intellectual property and license

VocaPass, its interface, software, workflows, compiled vocabulary datasets, generated assets, audio, images, text arrangements, and service branding are protected by intellectual-property and contract rights. During your authorized access period, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for learning.

10. User content and feedback

If you send support messages, error reports, feedback, or suggested corrections, you grant VocaPass permission to use that material to operate, secure, improve, and support the service without owing compensation. Do not submit confidential third-party materials or content you do not have rights to share.

11. Account data and progress records

Learning progress, plan terms, review results, display-language preferences, entitlement records, support messages, and operational logs may be stored to provide and secure the service. Privacy handling, retention, processor use, and user request procedures are described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Refunds, chargebacks, and billing disputes

Refund procedures are described in the Refund Policy. Customers may request a product-level refund within 7 calendar days after paid access starts. Approved refunds revoke the paid entitlement and final-exam eligibility tied to the refunded purchase. If you open a card-network or Stripe dispute, we may submit checkout terms, delivery records, account access records, support history, and usage logs as evidence.

13. Third-party services

VocaPass may rely on third-party infrastructure, hosting, payment, analytics, logging, email, support, or security providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages or processor decisions outside our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimers

VocaPass is an educational vocabulary product and does not guarantee test results, admission outcomes, job outcomes, language proficiency, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, VocaPass will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to paid access will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected access period unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, misuses payment systems, infringes rights, or threatens service integrity. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and a chance to resolve the issue.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for product, legal, payment, security, or operational reasons. Material changes will apply prospectively unless immediate application is required for law, security, fraud prevention, or payment compliance. Purchase-specific access terms saved with an existing purchase remain governed by the saved purchase record where required by the product specification.

18. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to non-waivable consumer protection rights that apply in your location, disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and both parties consent to that venue.

19. Contact and notices

For account, billing, product, or legal notices, use the Support page or email [email protected]. Include your account email and relevant payment or plan identifiers when requesting account-specific help.
